Another pair done!
Edited: Yeah, i was able to make the pictures smaller!! They are modified Mermaids from the Lucy Neatby book Cool Socks, Warm Feet in Knitpicks Essential Tweed in Plum. I did my favorite heel and for the toe, my favorite german round toe. They were loads of fun to make and the way the pattern swirls on its own is amazing. Here they are:

Campanula for the Cure
Mezzodiva has created this beautiful sock pattern to "stomp out" breast cancer. To get the pattern, all you have to do is click here and sponsor her for the 2007 Weekend to End Cancer. 100% of all the proceeds go to Princess Margaret Hospital, one of North America's leading cancer research centers.
This pattern has been test knitted by newbies and experienced knitters alike.

On the needles
I have several pairs of socks on the needles right now, so I thought I would share with everyone.
Broadripple. I have one sock complete and am at the heel of the second.
Falling Leaves. My first toe-up socks. All I've done is the toe and about 3 repeats of the lace pattern on the first sock. I'm trying to concentrate on the Broadripples for a swap.
Jaywalker. This sock is the first one and is actually just waiting for the toe to be kitchenered. I've started the second sock - I'm just past the cuff.

The Slowest Socks in The World
At least that is what it felt like. I started these on June 21 and finished tonight. Sock #1 was a nightmare! I think I started over at least four times.
But, now they are done --- TOFUtsies yarn on size 1 needles, plain old stockinette pattern with an Eye of Partridge heel.
