Go with the Flow Socks

Go with the Flow Socks
I haven't posted in quite a while, but I've finally finished a pair of socks and have something to post! These are Evelyn Clark's Go with the Flow Socks. The pattern was in the spring 2005 Interweave Knits and is also included in their new Favorite Socks book. It's an easy pattern to memorize, making it perfect for walking and knitting.

Yeeha

I've made it half-way through the gussets. It's the first pair of socks I've done so each part completed is cause for excitement here. Pics will eventually be posted.

Some Socks for May

I finished up two pairs of socks for May, a quick pair for charity

and a not-so-quick pair for me. These took me FOREVER! But they are done and already worn to work.

As usual, details on the BLOG

Finally!

I finally finished another pair of socks. I did a pair of Tidal Wave socks using Tofutsies. I love the pattern and plan on doing another pair and I love Tofutusies too. I have to get back on my schedule of doing one pair a month.

Off the Needles

I finally finished a pair of socks. The yarn is Lion Brand Magic Stripe from my stash. It's not a favorite yarn, but you have to admit for the price it makes up a pretty hard-wearing pair of socks. The pattern is just a plain 56 stitch, 56 row stockinette.
The only problem I had was my needles. I bought some Lantern Moon needles and they are quite a bit shorter than what I'm used to using. A few times I lost stitches off one end or the other. I don't think it will happen as much with a finer yarn. At least that is what I am hoping.
