They're on the Needles!
Just a quick progress report. I'm knitting both socks at the same time. Have about 2 1/2 inches done on one, and a half inch on the other. They're my first solid color socks (Knit Picks Essential in Pumpkin) and my own design. Nothing too fancy--when they're a little further along, I'll post a scan.
They are also the first socks I'm making for me, instead of for someone else. Can't wait to wear them!

Bonnie, how are you liking the Essentials?
I have seen the Pumpkin color in WOA and it is a lovely color. Can't wait to see a pic!

So far, so good. It's very soft, and I've had almost no splitting. Of course, the real test will be in the wearing and washing!
